Wow...sounds terrific...what a wonderful intro on JWOP. A perfect blending of Argentinian musical lore and jazz. Get this music out there, only positive things to say. Kudos to Jeff, Gil and Gabriela as well. On One Notch Higher you remind me of the great Teo Lima, (Brazil) who is one of my favorite drummers...Bravo and Thanks for the listen!"

I much enjoy and admire the music on Jazz Winds of Patagonia-congratulations!
Molenhof, Berlin and Goldstein sound great, as if they had been playing together forever.
And Gabriela Guala is a find-thoroughly musical and perfectly nested into the rhythm section.
Bill Molenhof's writing is first-rate too. All told some wonderful, fine music for which I thank you.

Gabriela Guala sounds wonderful: full spectrum of harmonics in her voice, clear and with a feeling of something deep and soulful to share...diverse and beautiful vocal energies.
What a team...so great!"

Bill Molenhof played drums so beautifully on this, his latest CD. His wife Maria Gabriela is a wonderful pianist and vocalist. This was a joy to record their music. LOVELY TUNES FROM BILL. Bill is a hard-swinging player at a soft level----my favorite type of drummer.
Jeff Berlin
Bajista (Bass Player)

The band featuring Bill Molenhof, Gabriela Guala, Jeff Berlin, and Gil Goldstein was absolutely incredible! I am honored to have presented the debut concert for such a talented and well known group of musicians whom are obviously already very well-known and recognized in the world of jazz. I hope it is the first of many successful concerts for the Jazz Winds of Patagonia.

The JWOP concert was fantastic, and hosting a masterclass by Bill Molenhof was absolutely fantastic!! Informative and entertaining… hearing Bill's thoughts on music was a great opportunity for the audience. I am very happy to have introduced the local community to an artist of Bill's calibre.

I am very happy to write this letter of recommendation for singer/pianist Maria Guala. I have had the pleasure of working with Maria for the past few years in Nurnberg, Germany.
In my capacity as guest professor of voice in several opera theaters in Europe, as well as giving master classes in many universities and music conservatories, I am fortunate to meet many types of artists. It was through the music school in Nurnberg where I was introduced to Maria.
Maria is a highly skilled pianist who is comfortable playing repertoire of all genres. She is as comfortable playing classical works as well as many of the jazz standards where she and I focused our work.
She came to me with the desire of developing her singing technique. We worked classically in the beginning and then focused on the jazz repertoire. I am very happy with the development that Maria made during our time together. Maria is a lyric soprano with a lovely, clear voice. She has a deep, strong chest register allowing her to sing many of the jazz ballads bringing to them a rich and dark warmth. Not only is the lower register of her voice strong, but she has a beautiful extension into the top giving her the potential to sing many other music genres including some classical repertorio.
Maria is also a beautiful performer bringing a simplicity and honesty to her music that is refreshing and captivating to the listener. I can recommend Maria without any hesitation.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Douglas Yates

Hello Maria,
I just listened to your singing - Este es me mundo, Fever and Wonderwall. I enjoyed your singing and your voice very much! Great that you play the piano well, too. What an advantage for a singer!
This sounds wonderful! I love it.A genuine mood - clean, true singing sound. Introspective, naked. Simple, elegant playing on the piano.Congratulations. It's great!
Best,
